From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, fiends, and dark forces increasing in influence within the city.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of heroes who will separate from the primary party to begin their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.
This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
With 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.
Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might seem mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, entering the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.
The traitor then settled his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
- Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their position as key figures in House Halovar could help the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:
- The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
- Tyranny and The cleric defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- The target is marked for death by House Halovar.
This means them few options but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.
Future Episodes
According to episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Seekers and Planners tables.
Audiences can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
